Electronic Arts’ FIFA series undoubtedly has a big following since it’s one of the most important football simulators in the videogame industry. It is also of the most popular among gamers. Every year, Electronic Arts releases a new title for the famous game. Sales don’t usually drop very much, since fans diligently keep buying every annual iteration of the game. This is the reason why it seems a bit strange that EA decided to launch FIFA 17 first on mobile platforms instead of console or PC. Without any kind of previous annoucement, EA has launched the game on the Google Play Store. However, it’s true that the game’s name is a bit different: now it is called FIFA Mobile Soccer.
The name may indicate that the company wants to emphasize it is its own single game, not just another Android port version of the original title. The game itself seems to give players the team management we are used to, as well as 30 leagues, 650 teams and around 17000 players to choose from. But EA has decided to include more features for this mobile game. For example: we will be able to play a new mode called Attack. In this game mode, we will be able to challenge other users to turn-based matches. The difference is that in these matches, we will have time to plan our tactics beforehand.
The game will have more features and possible daily rewards
It seems there will also be new league-based challenges, like joining a match and fight for victory or trying to raise your position in the league’s ladder. EA has declared that they are planning to add new daily content, like live events so that people can win prizes and rewards. The game can be downloaded for free through the Play Store, and its size is 100MB apparently. Of course, you will require an Internet connection.
We know nothing more about the game or even if it showed up on the Store by accident, since EA hasn’t made any official statement. However, it’s already available for download in many countries. It should arrive on iOS device soon as well.
